Silver Star Families of America Founder Blasts Michael Moore

Jan. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Moore listed one of his new year’s resolutions as, “Stop saying, ‘I support the troops.’ I don't. I used to.”  Moore tried to walk back his statement in his next “resolution” but wound up digging the hole a little deeper.  

Newton continued by saying, “For someone who has made millions of dollars in America from the free enterprise system, Moore seems to be wholly ignorant of where his freedom to shoot off his mouth comes from.  He seems to make a point of bashing everything American but when it comes to our troops who have sacrificed so much, shedding their blood, sweat and tears, we draw the line.”

“Moore seems to enjoy insulting everyone and everything and that is his right, paid in blood for him by others who are patriots.  But we also have the right to call him out when he attempts to use his public persona for stupidity.  Maybe he would learn a little humility and love of country if he bothered to serve in the military.  Or maybe volunteer for the USO.  It would be worth a try.”
