Jan. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- TAMPA – Southern Data Storage, a Tampa-based company focused on data storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions for small & medium enterprises, state & local government agencies and schools has announced the establishment of a new online presence via Facebook.

Mark Hall, President of Southern Data Storage, said: “The SDS mission is to offer a very select group of best-of-breed, market-leading storage and backup solutions at extremely attractive price points.  The new SDS Facebook page extends and expands our level of engagement with existing and prospective customers, and allows our message to be communicated much more effectively.”

The new Facebook page will feature:

·      Links to blog posts and news updates from the Southern Data Storage website

·      Relevant links and posts from IT industry sites around the web

·      Content from the eight SDS vendor partners: Nimble Storage, Unitrends, NexGen Storage, Gridstore, ExaGrid, Veeam, Nexsan and Nasuni.

Southern Data Storage, founded in early 2012, draws on a three-decade tradition of success in the IT industry. “I’ve seen massive changes since I got into the business in 1981,” Mr. Hall says, “and that experience has been invaluable in telling the ‘contenders’ from the ‘pretenders’ in vetting our line card. The response from customers and vendors has been nothing short of amazing. 2013 is shaping up to be a very good year for Southern Data Storage.”
