College Satisfies New Year’s Resolutions By Offering A Discounted 3-Month College Language Class
Community Business College offers a “New Year’s Resolution” discount for learning a new language in 2013.
Coming in just after losing weight, reducing debt and getting rid of bad habits, “learning a new skill” or a new language has been found in the top 10 New Year’s resolutions lists all the way from ABC News to the United Kingdom’s newspaper surveys.
This language class offers the choice of 19 different languages from which to choose and can now be taken online and through mobile devices with a downloadable app. The college is now offering a discount of $22 off its regular $48 tuition for the 3-month program.
Located in California’s Central Valley, Community Business College offers a wide variety of "lifelong learning" courses to its students and to those who are interested in learning new skills. The school initially began its world languages study programs to assist its vocational students in looking for jobs that require bilingual skills.
The program has expanded to include all those who wish to become more familiar with other cultures and languages. Even Wikipedia now lists improving skills as one of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions.
Learn a new language has been shown to not only improve cultural awareness but to assist in the learner’s mental acuity and memory skills.
To obtain the New Year’s discount and start learning a language, students will need to type in the promo code “Resolution”
Languages available on this platform include Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, English (English as a Second Language), Filipino (Tagalog), French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Persian (Farsi), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
