-- Vanessa M. Peña of Benson & Associates Interior Design has been certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (NCIDQ), and is now a licensed interior designer. Mrs. Peña, a native of Barranquilla, Colombia, received an interior design degree from Indian River State College in 2006 and has been with Benson & Associates for six years.
National Council for Interior Design Qualification sets the standards for education, experience and examination of interior designers. Through prequalification and testing, NCIDQ validates an interior designer’s education and competence in the aspects of interior design that affect public health, safety and welfare to protect the public.
Benson & Associates Interior Design has been designing residential and commercial spaces throughout south Florida and the east coast since 1996. Mrs. Peña’s portfolio includes several residential and commercial projects such as Fort Myers Dermapathology, Digestive Health Physicians and Legacy Family Office. She is involved with the local chapter of Make a Wish Foundation as a wish granter and has a passion for improving lives through design.
