Young adult mystery novel now available for Kindle exclusively at Amazon.com

Dec. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- BELLEVUE, WA – Elle Ashley, a young adult novelist based in the Pacific Northwest, has released her first title, The House That Wasn’t. Combining her love of psychological thrillers, ghost stories and a touch of romance, this first work is set in Puyallup, Washington. It is now available for Kindle exclusively on Amazon.com.

"Think of a collaboration between Judy Blume, Stephen King and Guillermo del Toro and you get an idea of what the Quinn McCarthy series will be like. The House That Wasn't is just the beginning," says the author. "Adolescence is the ultimate mind-trip all by itself, so it was a lot of fun to write the main character, thirteen year old Quinn. I hope it isn't just an enjoyable story, but that readers can relate to the feelings brought on by Quinn's many ordeals and occasional triumphs."

Elle Ashley grew up in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by family with an active interest in cryptids, UFOs, the paranormal, and the supernatural. After years of working as a professional marketer, she was inspired by the coming of age of her own daughter to begin writing fiction for tweens and teens.
