Dec. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- ATLANTA – The Georgia Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association enjoyed the highest attendance of any event in their history on December 13 for the Progressive Dinner hosted by Construction Resources companies Atlanta Kitchen and Atlanta Glass & Mirror, in partnership with the Cooks Warehouse. The event, which took place solely in Decatur, Ga., brought in more than 350 attendees who showed their interest and support for the growing kitchen and bath specialty business within the Atlanta interstate perimeter.

“The amazing turnout for the event by industry professionals such as remodelers, designers and builders makes it clear that we are on the rebound,” said Construction Resources President Mitch Hires. “People are excited about 2013 and want to know about their options for home improvement and building. With our larger showroom space and additional design centers, we are poised to make even more designs come to life in 2013!”

Construction Resources’ company Atlanta Kitchen provided the second stop on the tour with dinner catered by Wahoo Grill, and sister company Atlanta Glass and Mirror provided desserts from Southern Sweets in addition to post-dinner drinks. Cambria provided entertainment in the form of models adorned with dresses in Cambria color profile designs and an appearance by their playful dragon mascot, Cambi. The musical stylings of Francisco Vidal also helped to entertain attendees as they toured the expanded design center and 1,000-capacity slab gallery, where red carpets invited attendees to explore selections of quartz, soapstone, marble, recycled glass, granite and many other countertop materials.

The Construction Resources Decatur Design Center continues on to its third and final phase of renovation and improvement to offer customers additional home improvement options. This final phase includes additional flooring and specialty options and displays, and is scheduled to be completed on January 16.
