Farmer Boy AG Hosts 13th Annual Customer Appreciation Event

Dec. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Farmer Boy Ag hosted its 13th Annual Customer Appreciation event on December 7, 2012 in Myerstown, PA. Twenty-one vendors, some of which included AP, Cumberland, Calf-Tel, L.B. White, and Hydro Systems, were in attendance to showcase their latest product offerings. Event attendees were encouraged to listen to four educational seminars throughout the day, with speakers from Cumberland Poultry, Potter Nesting, Ziggity Systems, and Arctic Air. Cumberland educated event attendees on New Technologies in Attic Vents Management, Potter Nesting gave tips on Cage Free Egg Production, Ziggity Systems discussed How Watering Systems Affect Environmental and Animal Welfare Concerns in Poultry Houses, and Arctic Air presented Ventilation Design for a Dairy.

Farmer Boy Ag invited current and potential customers to the event to enjoy refreshments and sandwiches while they spoke with vendors and purchased products at a discounted rate. New to the event this year was the addition of a “free table” where attendees were able to select up to two items to take home with them. In addition to this, Farmer Boy set up a bargain buys trailer and placed other sale items in front of the facility where customers could browse products such as calf hutches, PVC panels, poly fan covers, medicators, and insulation that were being sold at clearance prices.
