Mantri S.E.V.A makes the Christmas Merrier for Children of SOS village
Mantri S.E.V.A, the social responsibility wing of Mantri Developers Pvt Ltd, organized a Christmas Celebration programme for the children at the SOS Village
Mantri S.E.V.A created a carnival like atmosphere at the SOS village and over 160 children and 16 mothers were part of this celebration, which saw colourful appearance of Santa, singing of carols dance programs and fun competitions. The children and mothers were also treated with cake and gifts, distributed by Santa.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Snehal Mantri, Director-Marketing, Mantri Developers, said’ “Christmas is a festival of love, joy and peace and what better way of celebrating the festival than with the children. As every child relates Christmas to Santa Claus, gifts and candies and we believe that every child in India should enjoy the privilege of celebrating Christmas. Since its inception, Mantri S.E.V.A has been making efforts to give that “extra” to the ones considered as less fortunate in the society. Christmas celebration at SOS village was a small initiative towards the same endeavour.”
On this special occasion, The Director of SOS Village, Mr. M V Mahesh said “If we are able to add to the joy of these special children on a day as joyous as Christmas, it only makes the celebration more worthy. Through this event Mantri S.E.V.A has been able to usher in happiness and joy in the lives of our kids. I thank Mantri S.E.V.A team and everyone who participated in this wonderful initiative.”
Mantri S.E.V.A. (Supporting and Encouraging Voluntary Action) was formed in 2011 and has been designed to serve people and work towards addressing social issues and serving the community. In the past one year, S.E.V.A. has carried out a number of activities in the realm of Civic & Social Development, Social Aid and Green Initiatives. Activities at Mantri S.E.V.A. reiterate Mantri Developers’ pledge to give back to society, create positive change and add value to the communities they operate in.
