The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST is set to appeal to a growing American market for high performance small hatchbacks. The Ford Fiesta ST will come with a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder EcoBoost Engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The power plant is projected to put out 197 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque, and the car also comes with a performance oriented body kit, 17-inch alloy wheels, and performance interior touches such as a leather wrapped steering wheel and performance bucket seats. A huge mesh grille dominates the front fascia, which provides striking style and increased airflow for the turbocharger.

The new Fiesta is set up in the enthusiast mold, with only the manual transmission available. It joins the slightly larger Ford Focus ST as Ford moves to grab some of the growing “hot-hatch” market segment. Despite the muscular performance that Ford showed off with power slides, drifting, and burning rubber at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Fiesta ST is set to get around 34 mpg on the highway, making it an economical and efficient choice as well. The Ecoboost engine family achieves impressive fuel economy with gasoline direct injection technology and twin independent variable camshaft timing.
