Dec. 26, 2012
-- (New York, NY) The Teen Music Fest concert date initially scheduled for Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Nassau Coliseum has been postponed to a later date which will be announced early next year. The live benefit concert starring Zendaya Coleman from the Disney hit show “Shake it up,” and hosted by Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson was created as a direct partnership with the American Red Cross to provide relief to those families affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The postponement of the event is based, in pertinent part, on the low ticket sales caused by a direct result of the financial strain on families in the region. By pushing dates back, we hope to provide more fans and their parents ample time to financially recoup. And in turn, we hope to provide them with the opportunity to fully support a great cause; the Super Storm Hurricane Relief Fund. We continue to remain committed to making a difference in our community in every way we can.
Individuals who have already purchased tickets for the December 27, 2012 performance date may go back to the original place of purchase and request a refund, or you may keep your ticket, and it will be honored for the later to be announced performance date.
We appreciate everyone for their patience and understanding regarding this situation. We shall release all details regarding the future dates at our tour website: www.thetmfest.com
. For more details, you may contact Quinton White at firstname.lastname@example.org.
