Israel Fathers Protest Oklahoma Jews Financing Radical Feminist Conference

Dec. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- A Jerusalem conference financed by the Schusterman Foundation of Tulsa Oklahoma is raising discontent among men in Israel that it supports the alienation of children from fathers and the breakup of marriages.  Israeli fathers’ rights activists claim that the Schusterman foundation is financing radical feminists in Israel who promote alienation of children from fathers, call all women to divorce and use the children to extort the men.  The fathers claim that money from well meaning donors in the United States ends up destroying families and creating a generation of fatherless children.
 
The controversial conference is scheduled for December 26-27 at the Van Leer Institute of Jerusalem under the title “New concepts of gender, love and the Jewish family”.  It is financed and sponsored by the Tulsa based Schusterman Foundation via its “center for Israeli Studies at Brandeis University.  

The fathers argue that what appears to be an innocent debate about the enlightened side of Judaism is actually a state for hate mongering feminists who work relentlessly to demonize men, and their real pathos is devoted to fighting the patriarchy, and idolizes single- motherhood, at the expense of men.  For example, Prof. Daphna Hacker is a staunch opponent of shared parenting and the men’s’ rights.  She wrote articles used by Judges where she claims that marriage is oppressive to women, men exploit women who marry them, and marriage destroys women’s potential to advance careers.  At a committee to examiner abolition of the automatic custody to women in divorce, she said that men are unfit as parents, unable to attend to children’s needs, and should be prevented from seeing their own children, so that mothers can freely enter new relationship “without baggage”.  Hacker is scheduled to moderate a debate on societal perceptions of masculinity and femininity”.  Usually under these titles she simply says that men are inherently violent and all men are wife beaters.

Another speaker is Prof. Ruth Halperin Kadari,, who heads Israel’s premier radical feminist clinic and lobby group, the Rackman Center.  Halperin Kaddari has is the chief drafter of laws aimed at turning Israeli family courts into slaughter houses for men.  Last January, she orchestrated an indoctrination conference to social workers, (who in Israel are vested with judicial powers delegated by the family court judges).  The chief speaker at that conference was an Australian radical feminist who claims that women’s right side of the brain emits neurons that pick up stress signals from toddlers, and therefore women are better parents than men.  

The third speaker is Ayelet Blecher Prigat, another man hating professor, who is in charge of training the Israel bar lawyers.  She regularly selects speakers who indoctrinate lawyers to the “virtues” of radical feminism, how to oppose fathers’ visitation and custody applications, and how to generate circumstances that would deprive the man of his half of the marital property.  She is scheduled to speak about “Why marry at all?  Lets Abolish marriage as a legally recognized institution”.  
In a letter sent to the patrons of the event, Charles and Lynn Schusterman, the fathers write that American money finances a feminist Jihad against the men in Israel.  They request that the event be canceled, and that the Oklahoma donors reexamine their disbursements.  

“Today, the men hating radical feminists are hiding behind “new Judaism” slogans, to disseminate their revulsion of the concept of family unity, and their sense of oppression by the male patriarchy.  It is degrading to the men of Israel that well meaning donors from Oklahoma are meddling with Israel’s battles for parental equality”.
