Follow on Google News | Mandeville's Jamie Katz releases her first children's bookMandeville's Elizabeth Jamie Katz is enjoying her first Christmas after the launch of The Princess, The Pearls and The Pekingese. She and Slidell illustrator Dominick Blanda teamed up to share this story of God's love for His daughters.
The Princess, The Pearls and The Pekingese is a Christian children’s book that is the first in a series of stories about Princess Isabella and her darling pekingese, Lizzie. Princess Isabella lives with her mom, dad and her little brother. The stories will chronicle her adventures in everyday life as she realizes that she is the precious daughter of God the Father. Like her readers, Isabella loves dancing, riding horses and having tea parties. She wears her pearls because they remind her that she is a beautiful treasure who is a gift from God. “It is my prayer that God will use this book to enlighten, encourage, and deeply impact the hearts of young girls and those who read to them,” Katz said. “I pray it will reveal and remind us how truly amazing God is and how deeply He loves and delights in His uniquely beautiful daughters.” Katz grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Loyola University with a degree in communication. She has previously worked with her husband to co-author several books on Christian financial planning, including the best-selling Money Came By The House The Other Day.
