New Belle Chevre Goat Cheese Cheesecakes Win Taste Awards and Recognition

Gourmet Retailer magazine and The Nibble have recognized Belle Chevre’s new goat cheese cheesecakes with top honors and awards.  The cheesecakes were announced a 2012 Editor’s Pick by Gourmet Retailer magazine and a “Top Pick” by The Nibble, meeting with rave reviews after only a few months on shelves.

The cheesecakes are made fresh and with all natural ingredients, including Belle Chevre’s very own handmade Alabama goat cheese.  They’re “a divine mix of goat cheese and cream cheese”, according the The Nibble. “When Belle Chevre’s cheesecake arrived, we devoured it.”  The cheesecake is lighter than the typical cheesecake, since goat cheese is both higher in protein and lower in calories and fat than cream cheese.  The cheesecakes are 27 ounces, six inches in diameter, and retail for $29.95. The cheesecakes can be slacked out and have an extended shelf life when frozen.
