Dec. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Chronic inflammation is the start of chronic diseases. Oxidation is one of the main reasons why chronic inflammation occurs in our bodies and it has been reported by Time magazine that chronic inflammation is the pusher behind cancer development. Acute inflammation is a mechanism the body triggers for immunity, but when our bodies are in faced with overweight, high fatty diets or oxidation; our bodies start forming chronic inflammation that may develop into more complicated diseases such as diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer. The reason why cancer is so hard to cure is because cancer cells are angiogenesis, and will attack and absorb nutrients and oxygen of other healthy cells.

Up until now, there is still not a cure that can fully defeat cancer, but there are some methods for maintaining good health and cancer prevention. Three methods we should begin with are: maintaining a healthy body weight, daily exercise of at least 30 minutes, and avoid red meat or processed foods in which diets of mainly vegetable source should be preferred. Foods that contain phytochemicals such as lycopene, anthocyanin, lutein and other natural plant based phytochemicals are most effective against forming of free radicals, reducing oxidation inside our bodies and have anti-ageing and anti-cancer abilities.

Due to the busy lives of modern society, it has become difficult to obtain a comprehensive set of phytochemicals. However, a quick and easy solution to obtaining a good combination of phytochemicals would be taking microalgae products such as chlorella and spirulina. Chlorella and spirulina are categorized as “Super foods” because it contains a comprehensive combination of vitamins and nutrients and is helpful with internal body cleansing. Therefore, a good supplementation of chlorella and spirulina, will not only be able to adjust physiological functions, but will also be able to prevent chronic inflammation to lead a healthy life.

FEBICO’s microalgae are cultivated using fresh mountain spring water, and are different to the species of seawater algae. FEBICO’s microalgae are not detected of any iodine, therefore, users with hyperthyroidism can, and will not have any negative effects from taking FEBICO Chlorella and Spirulina products. To ensure our consumers that our products do not contain any iodine, our products are analyzed by SGS for any signs of iodine.
