Fisher Kia Announces New Partnership Between Kia Motors and the College Football Hall of Fame

Earlier this month, Kia Motors American announced they were to become an Official Automotive Partner of the new College Football Hall of Fame to be built in Atlanta, Georgia and completed in fall 2014. In recent years, Kia has begun to get more involved with supporting college football. They are also the Official Automotive Partner for the Southeastern College Football Conference and have also sponsored the 2013 Outback Bowl and the 2013 Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

As the automotive partner of the College Football Hall of the Fame, Kia vehicles will be integrated into the planned structure. Kia will be seen in displays at the center and other aspects of the Hall of Fame that will greatly improve the experience. The Hall of Fame is planned to be a 94,000 square foot building with 30,000 square feet of exhibit space. A 45 yard football field will also be built that can be used for museum programs or for special events. It is estimated the project will cost $66.5 million.

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame dates back to 1947 and was founded by a group of distinguished gentlemen including General Douglas MacArthur. The non-profit organization helps to run programs across the United States and helps young football players get scholarships to play college football. They have over 12,000 members and 121 chapters across the country.
