I believe parents need to stop their busy lives and listen to their children. They give us clues and signals of their emotional state. We totally miss the fact they may be emotionally unstable, a ticking time bomb, waiting to explode.  We could guide them to stability before they commit a heinous crime like the massacre at Newtown, Connecticut.
