Sahara announces its association with Badminton Sensation Saina Nehwal

The sponsor of Indian Cricket and Hockey, Sahara India Pariwar, had earlier, adopted Indian Boxing, Wrestling, Archery, Shooting, Track & Field and Tennis, covering support of a total of 101 sportsmen in these 6 games who were potential medal winners. Apart from this, Sahara has also extended support to the Indian Volleyball by sponsoring the Men’s National Teams (Senior & Junior) for a span of 4 years till 2016. The group, in order to uplift sports at domestic and grass root level, supports the legendary Calcutta Football League and many other sports at the national, state and district levels. The group has extended its sponsorship to the Uttar Pradesh senior cricket team which represents the state in Ranji and all other domestic tournaments.
Sahara is also owner of the IPL Cricket team – ‘Pune Warriors India’, ‘Sahara Force India’ – the only Indian Formula 1 Team, ‘Sahara Warriors’ – a polo team and ‘Uttar Pradesh Wizards’ – the Lucknow franchise of Hockey India League.
