InfoArmy Named 2013 CODiE Finalist in Best Crowdsourced Solution and Best Sales & Marketing Solution
Competitive Intelligence Reports Earn Prestigious Recognition from Content Industry in Two Categories
Serving as the preeminent awards program for the software and information industries, the SIIA CODiE Awards have been honoring outstanding achievement and vision for 27 years. Finalists in the Content categories represent the best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers.
“The competitive intelligence industry is ripe for disruption,”
InfoArmy reports are well-suited for a broad range of business professionals because they allow users to quickly drill down on information they need, such as executive team changes or website branding over time. The report database is also linked to show each company in the context of its competitive ecosystem. For example, Spotify’s report compares revenue growth over time with Rdio, MOG, and Rhapsody.
InfoArmy crowdsources the creation of these reports from researchers on six continents, allowing rapid database growth. The “Army” is motivated by a 50/50 split of report sale revenue. There are currently almost 6,000 free and paid reports.
“The CODiE Awards competition was extremely competitive this year with a record number of innovative products and solutions competing,” said Kathy Greenler Sexton, VP & General Manager for the Content Division at SIIA. “All of our CODiE Awards finalists should be commended for their innovation and market-leading products and services.”
CODiE Award winners will be announced during a special luncheon on January 31 in New York City during the SIIA’s annual flagship conference for information industry leaders, IIS 2013: Breakthrough.
