Team Members at Boston Moving Company Awarded for Excellence in Industry

Dec. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Jeffrey Hitchcock and David MacDonald of Boston moving company Humboldt Storage and Moving were both recently honored with the 2012 United Van Lines Masters Club Award. Each demonstrated exceptional sales achievement during the past year in five primary business categories including: corporate account household goods, residential household goods, special commodities, display and exhibit/electronic shipments as well as total revenue. Humboldt is the oldest moving company in Boston and the area’s largest United Van Lines agent.  


Hitchcock has over 35-years experience in the moving business and is the current Vice President of Business Development with Humboldt.  He has held positions as operations supervisor, customer service manager, sales director and vice president of sales. As a current executive team member for Humboldt he develops business goals and long term objectives. He has served on different relocation councils and boards during his career and received several different industry awards.

MacDonald has been with Humboldt for eight years as a relocation and sales consultant providing top quality relocation services across the country and around the world. He began his career in the moving industry in 1983 with a large national carrier where he worked for over 15-years. He has surveyed over 16,000 homes to be moved in his career. As a member of the Humboldt team, MacDonald oversees the relocations of private transfer customers, commercial relocations, international moves, and customers relocating through other United Agents.
