Dr Les Bailey began in physical therapies in 1981,qualifying in remedial massage,and later going on to qualify as an osteopath.
He gained his phd from OIUCM for a thesis on the treatment of plantar fasciitis.
He was awarded a teaching/lecturing diploma from the northern school of osteopaths in 1993.
He also holds a diploma in foot biomechanics .

1981-1987 Tyringham Naturopathic Clinic, Buckinghamshire. Head of department remedial massage area. Looking after 8 massage practitioners and overseeing patient care and treatments. 1988-1999 Opened my own clinic in Milton Keynes “the mk clinic of osteopathy and chiropractic” which I sold to my colleague, Colin Parish and still runs today. 1999-2002 Opened Nightingale Clinic in Carshalton which was very succesful in both osteopathy and orthotic prescription. This grew at a phenomenal rate moving to larger premises in Carshalton Beeches where we morphed the company into a chain of clinics across the UK and Ireland. Sadly the company was a victim of recession and was liquidated . The problem surviving the recession was our orthotic product, although excellent and very effective, was too high priced for the economic climate at the time. 2008-present I worked for a short time for “the clinic” , before deciding to begin treating patients from home with the long term view of having my own clinic again.
