Ford of Murfreesboro’s Christmas Kids providing gifts for Rutherford County’s foster children

Dec. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- There are over 400 children in foster care (through the Department of Human Services) in Rutherford County this holiday season. Kids with no parents or family to take care of them for whatever reason during this time of the year. Ages of the children are from birth to age 18. We collected clothing, toys, books, games and toiletries- anything for these kids was appreciated. Each year volunteers put together Christmas for all these children as well as at-risk kids so that they all have a merrier Christmas.

Ford of Murfreesboro collected the gifts in the New Car Showroom and filled to overflowing the bed of a bright red new Ford F150. More gifts were collected this year than ever. We had customers and strangers bring boxes and bags full of toys for them. Plus, our employees were very generous this year.
