Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Mrak O. Morris, a partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, has been elected Chair-Elect of the Utah State Bar Construction Section. He will serve as Chair-Elect in 2013 and as the Chair in 2014.
The Utah State Bar Construction Section is comprised of members of the Utah State Bar who practice or are interested in construction-
related law. The section sponsors events that serve to communicate recent developments and currents issues in federal and state construction laws to section members and other interested members of the Utah State Bar.
Mr. Morris has a diverse practice, with experience in general commercial litigation, including construction law, real estate litigation, employment law, trade secrets, general business disputes and defense of class action matters. He served as the Vice Chair of Programs and Projects for the Construction Law and Litigation Section of the International Association of Defense Counsel from 2011-2012. Mr. Morris is listed in Best Lawyers in America®
(2009-2013) for Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Employment Law – Individuals, Labor & Employment Litigation and Real Estate Litigation. He was also recognized as Best Lawyers in America®
