Warshaw Group Introduces Enhanced Fire and Safety Software for Universities

Dec. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY – Warshaw Group announced today that the company’s long-standing school safety inspection software will be introduced to colleges and universities across the country.  Warshaw Group has provided state of the art safety and compliance products since the mid-1990s, with this latest release meeting full university safety compliance and fire safety requirements.

University Fire and Safety compliance is often regulated by the municipality or the city in which the school operates, and institutions of higher learning must comply with city codes.  Cornell University (with numerous townhouses, high-rises, and dormitories) conducts mandatory annual fire inspections after a multi-fatal dormitory fire in 1969.  In addition, many universities nationwide maintain biological and chemical laboratories, each of which requires proper compliance for hazardous materials and waste, as well as safety procedures during laboratory operation.

Warshaw Group Fire and Safety Software is configurable to a school’s specific needs for safety compliance, and offers  mobile execution of preexisting safety practices in conjunction with new measures for safety and fire prevention.
