Winter Discount Events & Parking Days Coming to Navy Pier

Dec. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Chicagoans will have the opportunity to take advantage of special savings being offered at Navy Pier for several of their winter events and activities. Navy Pier is also offering a seasonal discounted parking days, which began November 1 and will run through March 17. The discounts range from 25-60% and are scheduled as follows: $14 Monday-Thursday before 5 p.m., $19 Friday – Sunday before 5 p.m., and $10 after 5 p.m. 7 days per week.

During Winter Wonderfest (http://www.winterwonderfest.com/index.html), which runs from November 30 to January 6 in Festival Hall, Navy Pier will host many different special discounts. The 12th annual traditional Winter WonderFest sponsored by Bank of America is a family oriented event and includes indoor ice skating, giant inflatable slides, rides, holiday decorations, music, live entertainment and many more attractions, all inside the 170,000-square-foot Festival Hall winter playground.

Discount days at Winter Wonder Fest take place Monday through Fridays from December 3-7, 10-14 and 17-21. Patrons will save $3 on all individual activity wristbands with coupon on these days. Premium bands include ice-skating while regular wristbands do not.

Navy Pier will also be running additional holiday promotions, such as honoring specially-marked Pepsi cans which will offer two Ferris wheel rides for $2 every Tuesday throughout December.

Also available is a Navy Pier VIP Card (http://www.navypier.com/cal_events/pdf/VIP_Card.pdf), which can be presented at the Navy Pier Guest Services Desk for a coupon book, which includes discounts to many Navy Pier restaurants, stores, events and attractions.

More Winter Events at Navy Pier

Children can Visit with Santa Claus on the Family Pavilion Stage from December 2-24, beginning at 11 a.m. and going until 4 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m. on weekends and on December 17-23. Santa visiting hours on Christmas Eve go from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Snow Days Chicago 2013 at Navy Pier’s Gateway Park will go from January 25-27, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. on Sunday the 27th. Admission is free and the day will feature teams of international artists, which will create 10-foot blocks of man-made snow, and there will also be dog sled race demonstrations and a snowboard competition.
