HEALTH CAMP BY DLF FOUNDATION AND ICICI LOMBARD

It is a famous adage that ‘Health is Wealth’! Taking a step forward in the direction, DLF Foundation along with ICICI Lombard conducted a general health camp comprising physical health check-up and eye check-up camp for the students at S.B. Mills Senior Secondary School, Shivaji Marg.

DLF Foundation is essentially spearheading the health camp in New Delhi and has included ICICI Lombard in the noble cause of serving the mankind. This is a brilliant effort on the part of DLF Foundation which believes in adding years to life and life to the years of humanity.

The health camp is an important feature of their healthcare initiatives which is organized at regular intervals in rural and urban villages as part of their commitment towards a healthy India. This time it took place to encourage young minds to look after their well being. A comprehensive health information dissemination programme was also undertaken at the venue to impart health education and sensitize communities on various preventive and promotive health care issues including Nutrition and Hygiene, one of the major trouble areas in this part of the country. The event witnessed participation of about 259 school children of class I to VI. Preventive techniques are especially encouraged through these camps. The health camp helped the kids to inculcate healthy habits to take care of their health by following neatness in and around their surroundings.
