Research shows that particularly among at-risk youth, an increasing number of high school graduates are ill-equipped to make the challenging transition to college – both academically and socially. Diplomas to Degrees includes a teen-friendly college guide with high-yield learning activities, plus college campus visits, helping Club members to better understand the admissions process. As you may know, for the past 5 years Lexus Financial Services has supported local Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. We expanded this partnership earlier this year when we announced a three-year commitment with Boys & Girls Clubs of America as a founding sponsor of the new Diplomas to Degrees (D2D) (http://www.bgca.org/ Our affiliation with Boys & Girls Clubs now includes $3 million in annual contributions, scholarships and sponsorships of national programs like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Youth of the Year program.
