Any traveler knows that traditional framed uprights are a hassle to store—in homes and in hotels. That’s why Road Warrior Luggage recently launched its M Series collection, which is comprised of six foldable pieces that collapse to less than six inches for convenient storage. The collection, which uses space-saving Micro-PoP™ technology, earned the first place Product Innovation Award at the 2012 Travel Goods Show.

Road Warrior’s “Micro-PoP” design allows the luggage to fully collapse to half its depth. The bags require only half the storage space of a conventional upright and come with their own storage sleeves, making it easy to hang the luggage in a closet, or stow under a bed, in a drawer or on a shelf—closer to where travelers pack.

Road Warrior’s M Series features a collapsible carry-on, upright and wheeled duffel. The pieces provide full-body structure but collapse quickly with a tug on molded red ripcords. A quick pull on the outside handles automatically locks the luggage back into the full size. The expandable cases are made with ballistic nylon fabric and are offered in several colors.  The luggage is priced from $329 to $399.
