The planned highly interactive workshops are scheduled to take flight in spring 2013. The Initiative seeks alliances with local associations, businesses, and utilities to make the training accessible to all sized organizations.
Participating professionals will improve their marketplace acumen, obtain better information about financial metrics that matter for their projects, and witness the effectiveness of innovation in efficiency retrofits and renewable technologies. The training facilitator is energy consultant and educator Michael Vargas of Atlas Project Support.
Atlas Project Support’s Michael Vargas was quoted as saying, “Over my many years in the energy industry I’ve noticed the growing gap between current job skills, and the skills organizations need to support energy requirements that will help them stay competitive in the marketplace. I believe this initiative can help to close that gap”.
Marguerite Inscoe Principal at ReLaunchU stated, “It is exciting to work on such an ambitious project. Using my firm’s expertise in Marketing and Curriculum Development, we expect nothing short of a powerful and motivational tool for those seeking growth in the energy Industry”.
