-- And after a fantastic 2012, it’s no wonder the children, staff and parents are revelling in the festivities of the holiday season. A £300k+ refurbishment, both inside and out, has seen the stunning Victorian Grade II listed building restored to it’s former glory, and a huge adventure garden with a climbing frame, tipi and stage area completes the fabulous setting for premium childcare and education for the under fives.
Leading the carols by the large Christmas tree out front was new nursery manager Toni Searle. Joining Heathrow, which is part of the nationwide chain Asquith Day Nurseries & Pre-Schools, Toni commented: “There is no bigger reward than inspiring children and helping to give them the best possible start in life. It’s not just about looking after and educating children, it’s about supporting and caring for families as a whole.â€
Having spent the past 23 years in the childcare industry, with 11 of those years being in management, Toni knows what makes exceptional nursery care.
The carol concert was given an extra sparkle as Mya, daughter to Toni and regular nursery goer, celebrated her 2nd birthday. Being both a mother and childcare professional makes for the perfect combination and Toni added: “I can’t believe just how well Mya settled into nursery life. She’s been at the nursery for five months now and has made so many new friends; everyday provides her with something new and exciting to come home and talk about and she has learnt so much over such a short space of time.â€
