Chicago Fathers’ Rights Attorney Jeffery Leving Attends Briefing with Senior White House Officials

Dec. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Leading Chicago divorce attorney and legal strategist Jeffery M. Leving will participate in a critical Holiday White House Briefing on December 18th at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Senior White House officials will be analyzing the most pressing issues facing the administration with some of the country’s most influential community leaders.

Leving will attend the morning briefing to discuss the next term of the Obama Administration. In addition to his passion for paternal involvement and legal reform, Leving currently sits on President Obama’s National Finance Committee.

Later in the evening, Leving will attend President Obama and the First Lady’s Holiday Reception at the White House. This year’s theme, as selected by the First Lady Michelle Obama, will be “Joy to All”. Leving believes the theme fits well with the spirit of the nation as we move forward.

The joy brought from children during the holidays is indescribable, and fathers should be present for each moment of excitement and Christmas bliss. The message of ‘Joy to All’ applies to each of us, but it really resonates with divorced and separated fathers this time of year,” said Leving.

An author as well as a fathers’ rights advocate and attorney, Leving received high praise from President Obama for his latest book, How to Be a Good Divorced Dad (http://www.amazon.com/How-Good-Divorced-Dad-Break-Up/dp/1...) (Jossey Bass 2012).This influential work encourages fathers to stay connected with their children by providing tactical advice for navigating the obstacles that arise pre and post divorce. Obama, a strong proponent for responsible fatherhood, commended Leving for being a leader on an issue that so obviously needs attention.
