Kay Marriott, partner and collaborative lawyer with the firm’s Family Law Team, and a keen cyclist herself said: “Last year saw Cyclocross come to Doncaster for the first time. The success of that event led to the North of England Championships being held here this year. “It was a very tough course and the heavy ground made it even more challenging, but it was great to see such a wide range of ages and abilities being catered for in one event. Congratulations and well done to all the winners.” Event organiser, Chris Morrey said: “The event has been a huge success once again and we hope to build on this by bringing the National Trophy Cyclo Cross to Doncaster next year.” The North of England Veterans (over 40’s) Championship went to Ian Taylor from North Yorkshire, who proved a convincing winner as he crossed the line 49 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.
