Omnicom Press Author Highlights Prosecutorial Indiscretion in Litvinenko Case

Litvinenko case in disarray. Mysterious web of suspicious connections reaches deep into British official circles.

Dec. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- As a December 13 hearing approaches in the Alexander Litvinenko death case, Omnicom Press author William Dunkerley has highlighted prosecutorial indiscretion in the case. The American University in Moscow has published Dunkerley's analysis of recent developments. Dunkerley's report shows a "mysterious web of affiliations and intersections that call into question the whole media story about Litvinenko." It reaches "deep into British official circles" Dunkerley observes. That casts serious suspicion, he says, upon the "integrity of the British investigation and prosecution."

Dunkerley is the author of The Phony Litvinenko Murder published by Omnicom Press. The book examines mainstream news reports that claimed Litvinenko was a former spy murdered with radioactive polonium on orders of Russian president Vladimir Putin. According to Dunkerley, those reports were based on fabrications produced by a wealthy Putin arch-enemy and are not factual.

Dunkerley says the December 13 hearing will be conducted by London coroner Sir Robert Owen. He expects it will look into the fabrications, along with whatever factual evidence may be presented. According to Dunkerley, strong pressure is being exerted on the coroner to support the non-factual allegations and to discredit explanations that buck the fabrications.

Dunkerley's report can be viewed on the website of the American University in Moscow at this link: http://us-russia.org/646-prosecutorial-indiscretion-in-li...
