Dec. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Taking the best of age-old craftsmanship, Impressionist masterworks and her profound talent as an artist with oil on canvas, contemporary impressionist Concetta Antico, launches a vintage furniture line that is not only collectible, but functional and beautiful.

Ms Antico personally selects the vintage furniture by scouring antique stores throughout her local and international travels. Each furniture item, faux painted or refinished, is reupholstered with artist grade premium cotton duck canvas fabric, then painted by hand and varnished to preserve. These original, unique signed masterpieces can be customized to suit any décor or theme.  Each piece comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity from the artist.

“There is a special energy behind the eye of an artist selecting and reclaiming a once loved item from the past, preserving, then presenting it for a new age, in a new fashion,” says Antico. “I feel the spirit of the Master artists that have come before me and am privileged to repurpose the furniture with my interpretation of their work.”

Clients can submit their own beloved heirloom furnishings for custom orders and custom masterpiece or other decorative images.

Select exquisite pieces are on display and for sale at the gallery showroom located at the Antico Fine Art Gallery in Mission Hills: 1920 Fort Stockton Drive, Ste. A, San Diego, CA 92103.
