TCG’s St. Petersburg Employees Spread Holiday Cheer
The Continental Group’s Participation in Local Food and Gift Drives Benefits Families in Need
The St. Petersburg regional office has set a goal of donating and delivering between 400 to 700 pounds of food to the homeless through Metropolitan Ministries, and TCG’s staff expects this initiative to make a strong impact. Metropolitan Ministries helps people who are struggling with illness, loss of work or homelessness with food, clothing, shelter and skills training.
Additionally, they will also sponsor several families from Isaiah’s Inn “Adopt-a-Family”
Each charitable holiday effort is part of Continental Cares, TCG’s year-round corporate philanthropic outreach program dedicated to enhancing the lives of the neighbors and residents of the communities it serves. The primary focus of Continental Cares is to reach out to nonprofit organizations and entities that meet the Continental Cares mission.
“TCG’s employees are extremely enthusiastic and generous when it comes to donating to each of these charities. We look forward to helping out each year,” said Mark Stoops, TCG Regional President, North Florida. “It is a pleasure for us to participate in these great food and gift drive donations and we request that the local St. Petersburg community joins us and gets involved.”
