The automaker will manufacture a sedan and a crossover in addition to the current body style, a hatchback.

Honda is considering selling the new versions of the Honda Fit in the U.S., but has not made its final decisions yet. The Mexican plant is set to open in 2014, and as much as 30% of the plant’s output is anticipated to be delivered to the Mexican market.
