Sacramento - Paul Blanco shifts customer focus into high gear
Auto buyers feeling Paul Blanco's focus on customer service and retention. Is this new direction toward buyer satisfaction ramping up positive client relations?
Dec. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Obviously so as Paul Blanco's sales have exceeded even his rosy projections in Northern California. And even though sales overall in Sacramento are generally up for all dealers Paul Blanco seems to be outpacing this modest increase by a significant margin. Since Blanco deals in used vehicles only we also gathered data on several new franchise dealers as well and found mixed results. New vehicle sales are seemingly up overall in small and mid-size sedans. And holding their own in the all important sport utility and full size truck segments. Outside Blanco's obvious success story used car sales in Sacramento are steady, but not up to the extent of the new sales trend.
Why is Blanco's sales rate exceeding local trends? That was the question we asked. Why is it that sales of pre-owned vehicles are static, yet Paul Blanco is experiencing a close to 50% increase in Sacramento and Stockton? And how is his new store in Fresno doing overall? To hear the Blanco people in Sacramento you would have to conclude that the freshened approach to hand selecting only those vehicles that meet exacting standards and a renewed interest in customer satisfaction after the sale is key.
The recent economic troubles have surely made people more aware of quality and value, and perhaps have them more tuned in to the folks who deliver the same. Will this trend hold and will people make future purchase decisions based upon getting true value and dealer reputation? We shall soon have the answer to that as Blanco moves into new markets. Including the Bakersfield area projected in Feburary, and Orange County, and Los Angeles later in the year.
