SC Magazine Readers Select NetIQ as a Finalist in Three Categories for 2013 SC Awards

Dec. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TX:  NetIQ® today announced that its Security and Identity Management solutions have been selected as a Reader Trust Award finalist in the “Best Policy Management Solution”, “Best Security Information/Event Management (SIEM) Appliance” and “Best Identity Management Application” categories for the 2013 SC Awards.

The corresponding NetIQ products–Secure Configuration Manager™, NetIQ Sentinel™  and Identity Manager – have been chosen as one of the information security industry’s most effective solutions in their respective categories, addressing the biggest security challenges facing organizations. Each has been recognized as a top product in the Reader Trust Award competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services, and is selected by a panel of readers who represent the circulation of SC Magazine.

Winners of the Reader Trust Awards will be announced at the 2013 SC Awards U.S. ceremony to be held on Feb. 26, 2013 in San Francisco.

Vendors and service providers who offer a product and/or service for the commercial, government, educational, nonprofit or other industries can enter the Readers Trust Award category. Secure Configuration Manager, Sentinel and Identity Manager were selected from hundreds of entries submitted across 34 technology categories. Winners will be selected by a panel representing a cross-section of SC Magazine readership comprised of large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets, including financial services, health care, government, retail, education and other sectors.
