Raggs is a live action and animated musical preschool television series that completed production of 195 original half hour episodes in Sydney, Australia in 2008, a co-production between Southern Star Entertainment, PTY and Raggs LLC. The award-winning Raggs series is airing in multiple countries in multiple languages and was recently dubbed in Spanish for U.S. network Telemundo, where it began airing in July 2012. The entertaining and educational series is based on the original characters created by Toni Steedman, a U.S.-based advertising executive, for her then six-year-old daughter Alison. The rock n’ roll story of five canine characters and their wisecracking cat can also be enjoyed online, at live shows and in products such as DVDs, toys, books and apparel. The Raggs Band has played over 4,000 live shows including four appearances at the White House, multiple trips overseas to perform for U.S. military families and appearances at performing arts centers on four continents. In 2011, Blue Socks Media LLC, based in Charlotte, NC, USA acquired the worldwide rights to the Raggs.
