-- Robert Merashoff began his career in the energy business when he decided to pursue studies in CADD and mechanical engineering at Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A few years later, he landed a position at the Department of Energy, which would catapult his career in the energy industry. Today, he is proud to announce that he has worked 22 years in the energy industry. He says he hopes to work more than 22 more.
At the Department of Energy, Robert Merashoff was a project manager in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he was in charge of the drafting department and maintaining all of their piping and instrumentation diagrams. He was able to learn a great deal about the energy industry and the coming boom in shale gas.
He then became a senior landman at JJ Oil and Gas LLC, where he worked for almost two years managing a team of landmen and leasing in Washington County, PA. Then, he found his current work as a managing member of Pleasant View Management Ohio.
At Pleasant View Management Ohio, Robert Merashoff has had a great deal of success. He has personally signed over 100,000 acres of lease hold in the Marcellus and Uitca fairways. He has also earned a 52,000 acre royalty interest override. For his commitment to customer service and being landowner-friendly, Robert Merashoff awarded the "Man of the Year Award" from Pleasant View Manaagement Ohio.
