Surveilstar is an Internet/computer monitoring software which is consists of three components- agent, server console.

 Agent  Only needs to be installed on the computers you want to monitor. Once installed, it will invisibly collect and send all the monitored data to Server. It is also used to execute the commands and policies created by the Console.

 Server Needs to be installed in the computer for storing data sent from agent and policies created by the console. It must be running all the time during the whole monitoring time period. SQL server series are typically used and recommended.

 Console The control panel for reviewing data stored on the server thus letting monitoring side know what happened on agent. It is where to export detailed monitoring reports and create policies to limit the monitored users' access. More than 1 consoles can be installed on multiple computers and are accessed by different account with different privileges.
