Dec. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- SpiceRoads Cycle Tours, a premiere Bangkok-based tour company specializing in bicycle tours, is looking to host journalists affiliated with magazines that target road bike cyclists on our upcoming rides in Thailand.

We run numerous road bike tours across several regions of Thailand and we invite you to join us on one of the several tour options we have listed below. SpiceRoads will cover the cost of the tour as well as flights and hotels for one night before and after the tour in exchange for coverage in the form of a feature article of the tour in your magazine.

Being established in Thailand for more than 10 years, SpiceRoads knows that road riding in Asia is special, not only for the scenic roads and cycle routes, but also for the vibrant Asian culture, people and stunning nature, all uniquely experienced and intimately accessible from the seat of a bike.

Listed briefly below are several road tour options. Whether it be Kanchanaburi mountain climbs, drifting past palm-fringed white beaches in Phuket or wheeling through the UNESCO heritage sights of ancient capitals, each individual tour is replete with character and inspiring moments.

On our cycle from Bangkok to Phuket, we embrace a full spectrum of Thailand's culture, pace and people. This 10-day tour takes in both the Thai Gulf coast and the Andaman Sea. Seeking backroads where possible we cycle from Bangkok south to Hua Hin and on to the sleepier sands of Ban Krut sampling the renowned fresh seafood along the way. This is one of our most popular tours and several of our riders have completed the 800 km ride numerous times. Departure dates: December 16, January 20, February 17, March 17

Our Chiang Mai to Bangkok tour heads out from the mountains and jungles of the North to the temple-filled plains of central Thailand. Riding south along shady roads that lead to the historic city of Lampang. to the ruins of the former capital of Siam, Sukhothai and on to more UNESCO sites - Khampeng Phet and historic Ayutthaya. The famous Thai smile, quiet back roads and some of the world's best cuisine—these are a few of the many attractive Thai aspects that are featured on this exciting 880 km, 11-day road cycling tour. Departure date December 2nd

Our  Kanchanaburi Hills tour takes riders to unique spots of central Thailand. From history laden Kanchanaburi we follow the Kwai River through stunning countryside to the impressive Erawan Waterfalls. The route undulates in the rural foothills that skirt the Burmese border before easing into Suphan Buri and onto the fertile river basin of the Chao Praya River. A closing ride from the ancient temples of Ayutthaya to the summer palace at Bang Pa-In close out this 8 day tour. Departure date: January 6

Sun, sea breezes and pristine beaches as we cycle 600 km from the Gulf of Thailand to the Andaman Sea. Our Road Cycling Southern Thailand route starts from the ancient town of Nakhon Si Thammarat, heads north to Khanom, and once we cross west via Khao Sok National Park, we head south to the resort destinations of Khao Lak and Phuket. Be challenged while cycling and reward yourself with beautiful sea views!
