Jan. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- This new contract follows on from five years of continuous usage of the application to manage Lord Mayoral and general correspondence.

BCC are one of the most extensive users of the MINCOR application, processing around 100,000 pieces of correspondence through the system each year. The system is critical to the organisations ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including constituents, private enterprise and Federal, State and Local Government agencies.

The contract extension follows on from Council’s decision to refresh usage of MINCOR by upgrading to the latest application Service Release. This is in line with BCC’s strategy to refresh the usage of a number of enterprise wide systems.

It is also expected that BCC will acquire the MINCOR Document Management Interface Module, allowing for seamless integration between MINCOR and the organisation’s TRIM Records Management product. This module ensures all correspondence documents are retained and disposed of in accordance with the relevant Records Management policies and legislation.

Bay Technologies' CEO Mark Pickering was delighted with this contract and said “We are excited to continue our long term relationship with council as we continue to work closely helping strengthen their correspondence processes.”
