Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Home Cash Profits has been getting a lot of attention recently, and not at all for the right reasons. Many internet business reviews have warned people away from this program due to its very controversial advertising tactics. Basically, the program appears to be backed by many trusted and legitimate sources, however a closer inspection shows that this is simply not the case.

Because of this, there are many who are justifiably calling the program a Home Cash Profits scam. If the company was legitimate and actually did offer a good online income system then why would it need to use false advertisements like this?

However, despite the many warnings in almost every Home Cash Profits review, there are still many people who are taken in by the seemingly trustworthy sources of information and the great earning opportunity the program claims to provide.

While many people feel that they know how to spot an online scam, the tactics used by this program often fool even experienced online business seekers.

The opportunity is usually presented in an email that seems to come from someone that the person knows. However, this is usually sent due to the person’s email address being hijacked and emails being sent to those on the person’s contact list.

This email will advise the reader to check out a news article about a great new online income system. The link does, indeed, lead to a news article lauding the benefits and legitimacy of Home Cash Profits.

However, while this article seems to be on a trusted news website like MSNBC or CNN, this is not the case, and the whole website is simply a duplicate of the purported news site complete with a deceptive URL to make things look legit. The article is usually an interview with a young mother who was struggling but who is now able to work only a few hours a day and make thousands of dollars a week.

This can be very tempting, especially since the opportunity seems to be backed by such trusted sources. However, the actual landing page that you will be lead to if you click the link shown will continue the deception by having fake logos on the top of the page showing the companies that supposedly endorse the program.

A good tip for anyone trying to find out if a website is legit is that approval seals and other certification logos should be clickable links which lead to the parent website that the seal is coming from – The ones on the Home Cash Profits website are not clickable.

The problem with this advertising is that it gets people off guard. Because of this, they often fail to read the fine print before signing up and then are charged a large sign up fee as well as an ongoing monthly fee that is difficult to cancel as the company is nearly impossible to contact for customer support. All these things have put the legitimacy of the opportunity under great scrutiny, as no ethical business would resort to such deceptive advertising methods.

Those who are still interested in the opportunity should do their best to find out more about the program by reading reviews and checking out forums, before they commit to signing up for the opportunity.
