Chicago Litigation Lawyer, Tim Ritchey, Named Co-Chair of Chicago-Kent Young Alumni Council

Ritchey is a 2005 graduate of the Chicago-Kent College of Law where he graduated with honors and remains actively involved in alumni activities. The Young Alumni Council was created in Fall 2009 to strengthen bonds among recent graduates of Chicago-Kent.

Most recently, he was asked by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education to author a chapter on federal and state statutory interpleader. He has also published articles with the American Bar Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield on probate and elder law matters. He continues to work with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and the Center for Disability and Elder Law as a volunteer.

Ritchey is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association and Kane County Bar Association. He is a member of the Probate Practice Committee and Estate Planning Committee at the Chicago Bar Association and was appointed to the Legislative Committee in 2011. He is also works with the Illinois State Bar Association to organize functions to help raise money for charity.

Ritchey has been appointed Special Assistant Attorney General in numerous matters to represent the State’s interests in actions relating to Illinois healthcare and disability law.
