Shell Awards Avsco For Excellent Performance

Dec. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- SHELL awarded Avsco Houston International Operations Nigeria, Ltd. the Outstanding Achievement Award, beating out over 18,700 vendors at the Supplier Delivery Performance Workshop held Wed. November 28, 2012 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Akobo Daere, Avsco’s Managing Director for Nigeria, accepted the Excellence Award, which is given in consideration of consistent excellent performance in both delivery and professionalism. Avsco was further selected to make a presentation at the event where Shell’s top 100 vendors were invited to attend. Mr. Akobo was asked to present on behalf of Shell’s Nigerian vendor colleagues regarding how vendors view Shell along with challenges faced and steps forward.  The award was presented to Mr. Akobo by Mr. Mark van Latum, Global Portfolio Leader SGSi-GSER, Shell Global Solutions.
