Get Insight! Comprehensive Gym Management Software

Dec. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- I am an independent fitness center (http://www.lifestylefitness247.com/) owner with a small software company wholly focused on software for the fitness industry.  As a small business owner I have dealt with trials and tribulations of owning my own gym. I would like to share my insight as to the secrets, procedures, and programs that have made my gym a success and my life easier.  One program that I have just released to the public is Insight.   Insight can be used alone or integrated with a billing software service called XEFinancial (http://www.gymmembermanager.com/). Insight is a gym management system specifically designed to take the headache out of the day to day financial management of fitness centers through comprehensive dashboards and key metrics that provide the ability to track sales, monthly dues, personal training sales and commissions, payroll, and more!

Here is a little background:

Four years ago (2008) I was approached by some friends who wanted to start a new 24-hour access gym. Specifically, they wanted me to create the hardware and software required to run a 24-hour unattended gym. Being a computer engineer, this task was right up my alley and I happily accepted. . . I had no idea how complex good fitness center software was.

A little less than 6 months later, we had our first fully functional member management system for 24-hour gym including hardware for the 24-hour door system which I dutifully designed and built from scratch (I didn’t know you could just buy the stuff off the shelf – oops). We’ve been iterating over the software ever since and now we have a pretty good product!

Almost by chance, a business started to grow around the software and hardware that was created for that first gym. It turns out that other adventurous gym owners liked the software we were creating and wanted to use it for their new gyms. And that brings us to 2012 where we now have an excellent set of tools for selling gym memberships, managing current members, automating billing, tracking personal training and club finances, and automating sales commissions.

Now we want to offer these tools to you. Our goal is to offer you everything you need start and run a gym up to a couple hundred members for free! The way we aim to make money is by charging for extended support and expert level options in the software. This way you can try our products out completely risk free and even run your club using them for the first year or so. If after trying our products you find that they help you out or you just want to support what we’re trying to do, then you can upgrade to a paid account.
