Nov. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Most people might not think of socks as a great Christmas present. However, most probably haven’t tried wearing a pair of mohair and merino wool socks.

With the holiday season in full swing, Pure American Naturals (PAN) this week began selling its Reward Socks at Appalachian Outdoors, a prominent outdoor clothing and equipment store located in State College, Pa. and at the Harvest Shop of Tait Farm in nearby Centre Hall.

PAN’s Reward Socks are produced and marketed from the Central Pennsylvania farm, and is made up of 55 percent mohair and 45 percent merino wool. “They are simply just the best darn socks you can wear,” said farm owner Glen Cauffman.

According to Cauffman, the socks are not itchy like one would fine with regular wool, and will not shrink as quickly as regular wool socks do. Wrinkling and smell are also not a problem with Reward Socks, Cauffman said.

PAN is based in Millerstown and specializes in high-quality mohair and merino wool products. More information about the company can be found at http://www.pureamericannaturals.com.

To order the socks, readers may call Appalachian Outdoors at (800) 690-5220 or the Harvest Store at (814) 466-3411.
