The book is set in beautiful Fort Myers Beach, Florida. “They don’t randomly go back just to party or to change the past in some way that will benefit them today. Through Thomas Edison’s Telephone to the Dead, they gain new information about an old and famous mystery in Fort Myers and feel compelled to intervene. The trip and the decisions they must make once back in 1966 proved more difficult and complicated than they expected,” said Alex Parker. “My co-writer, Alex Parker and I want our readers to feel like they are actually part of this series. To that end, we want four average teens to represent our characters, and we are conducting a nationwide contest to find the four people that will become the cover models for the books,” Kathy related. “Each book will also have one or more secondary characters that will appear only on that cover.” The cover model contest is open to all 15 to 19 year olds who best represent the heroes of the book and series. “The two boys and two girls we are looking for are not necessarily the beautiful and cool kids.
