Limited tickets left for readings by top UK poets at the Dylan Thomas Centre
There has been an unprecedented demand for tickets for a reading by Carol Ann Duffy on Friday 7 December.
To meet the demand the Dylan Thomas Centre has scheduled in two performances, the first at 5pm and a second at 7.30pm.
The National Poet of Wales Gillian Clarke will join her at the event.
Jo Furber, Swansea Council’s Literature Officer said “After their readings at the centre for the last two years we thought that tickets would be in high demand for this event.
“Hopefully by scheduling two events this will allow people to have more of a chance to see the countries finest poets. The phone hasn’t stopped ringing with people still trying to snap up tickets.
“We urge anyone who has not yet bought tickets to do so soon to avoid disappointment”
Tickets for the performances are on sale at the Dylan Thomas Centre for £12 or £9 concessions. To book contact the box office on 01792 463980 or visit http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/
