New Giving Platform Empowers Donors to Make a Difference
The Social Impact 100 is the first-ever broad index of U.S. nonprofits that have evidence of results and the potential to grow. The Index helps these nonprofits find the capital they need to reach more people and empowers donors to make a difference.
AVANCE is excited to be a part of this pioneering effort and is looking forward to benefiting from being one of the 100 featured organizations on the index. “We are honored to be featured as a top-performing nonprofit. The launch of the S&I100 will greatly increase AVANCE’s visibility and could not have come at a better time, as we gear up for our 40th anniversary in 2013,” said President and CEO Richard J. Noriega.
Upon review, AVANCE was selected for establishing innovative partnerships and community ventures including rapid expansion to states across the nation and for the first time, engaging in cross-cultural partnerships to research the adaptability of the AVANCE Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) to different ethnic groups. AVANCE was recently featured on NBC’s Education Nation and was selected by New Profit Inc. to join their portfolio of organizations. In addition, AVANCE has also established a partnership with the Emmy award-winning children’s PBS show & website PEEP & the Big Wide World.
Covering 100 high-impact nonprofits and nearly 16,000 local affiliates that are implementing their solutions, the Index features nonprofits like AVANCE that address the country’s most pressing issues in education, health, youth and poverty. Each of the 100 organizations has been rigorously screened for proof of impact and is only included in the Index if it has the ability to serve more people in need.
When donors use the S&I100, they can search for high-performing nonprofits in the issue areas and locations they care about and give directly to the organizations in a few quick and easy steps, making it easier for nonprofits like AVANCE to raise funds and serve more families.
